The Broncos are playing great ball right now, they have a chance to secure a first round bye. Entering the last week of the season I'm sitting at 153-87.  That's ok but not great.  I'd like to be over 170 for the season, but it is what it is at this point.  Let's finish strong. With teams resting players and teams out, I'll also take a look at the postseason and offseason for the teams in addition to my picks. Tampa Bay at Atlanta - A game where one team has everything locked up and another team is out of the playoffs is tough to pick.   The Bucs are a young team with a good core on offense.  They need to bring in some more pieces on defense to keep getting better.  I like where they are going. The Falcons are headed to the playoffs and have the #1 seed.  Everyone, including me, have been asking what the Falcons can do in the postseason.  A running game and good defense are key to consistent play in the postseason.  Turner is a little older but Rod...

Chris Kuper listed as “questionable” this week

When the Broncos (12-3) take on the Chiefs (2-13) this weekend, offensive guard Chris Kuper could be on the field.  Kuper is listed as “questionable” after being limited in practice this week. The most likely scenario seems to be Denver resting Kuper this week, giving him two weeks to rest in preparation for the divisional round of the playoffs (assuming Denver secures a first...

The Broncos can secure home field throughout the playoffs with a win. Playoff scenario preview.

It's easy for the Broncos, they win and they secure the top seed in the AFC. We've made it to the last week of the season.  There is still a lot to figure out in both Conferences and a couple teams still in the playoff hunt. Here's a look at the Week 17 Final Playoff Scenarios: NFC Locked-up: Atlanta Falcons (South, #1 Seed, home-field throughout); Green Bay...

Broncos players say Thomas, Woodyard got snubbed

The Denver Broncos have five players selected to the NFL Pro Bowl, but wide receiver Demaryius Thomas and linebacker Wesley Woodyard are not one of those five.  But their teammates say they should have been selected. Denver’s chances of making their first Superbowl in 14 years look increasingly good heading into the final week of the regular season, with the Broncos just needing a win over lowly Kansas City to guarantee a first-round bye. NFL Rumors: Denver Broncos Expected to Play QB Peyton Manning Entire Game

With the possibility of securing a number one seed in the AFC playoffs, the Denver Broncos are expected QB Peyton Manning to play the entire game on Sunday. Broncos Thomas, Woodyard don't get Pro Bowl call

If it's true that most players earn trips to the Pro Bowl for what they did the year before, then Demaryius Thomas and Wesley Woodyard of the Broncos should start making plans to be there in 2014. The Denver receiver, with 1,312 yards and nine touchdowns, and linebacker, who leads the team with 110 tackles, were among the most surprising omissions from the AFC team announced...
