Found November 15, 2011 on Bears Locker:
PLAYERS: Julius Peppers
TEAMS: Chicago Bears

New_orleans_saints_0abe
The Chicago Bears need more out of 31-year old DE Julius Peppers.  Peppers has played in 9 games for the Bears so far this year and he has 22 tackles, 6 sacks, 1 forced fumble, 4 tackles for a loss, 2 fumble recoveries and 3 passes defensed.  In his first two years with the Bears, Peppers has played in 25 games and he has 76 tackles, 14 sacks, 4 forced fumbles, 2 fumble recoveries, 2 interceptions, 12 passes defensed and 9 tackles for a loss.  Peppers has been a good player for the Bears, but they paid him to be great when they gave him a HUGE contract two years ago.  They need him to be great again.

Drew Sharp claiming the Lions whine and complain doesn't make it true

I saw the following passage in today's Freep. I'll give you one guess as to which hack columnist wrote this tripe. "You could say the same thing with Julius Peppers' play," Schwartz said. "I mean, Julius Peppers goes in to attack Calvin. I mean, Calvin is 7-feet tall (and) Peppers is the same way. That's a basketball game between those two guys, but...

Players from the Bears and Detroit Lions are expected to make a sizeable contribution to the NFL’s charitable partners this week. Bears Extract Revenge on Lions

I don’t have any more superlatives than have already been said by everyone else on the Bears’ dominant 37-13 win over the Detroit Lions.  The Bears most certainly extracted revenge for the Monday night defeat in Detroit a few weeks back. Let’s here what you all think. I just hope the loss of guard Chris Williams for the season won’t impact the offensive line...

Bye week did little to aid Detroit Lions, but wasn't cause of loss to Chicago Bears
