The End Of The Mike Vick Era In Philly? - It sounds like Michael Vick knows the end is near. He said after the Eagles’ 30-17 loss to the Falcons Sunday that he knows head coach Andy Reid is considering benching him, but said he’s going to fight to keep his spot. “Obviously, he’s thinking about making a change at the quarterback position,” Vick said after another ugly loss. “The thing I do know, and I go and watch the film and evaluate myself, is that I’m giving us every opportunity to win. I’m trying my hardest. Some things don’t go right when I want them to, but whatever decision coach wants to make, I support.” Vick completed 21 of 35 passes for 191 yards Sunday with a touchdown and no turnovers. He also ran for 42 yards on seven carries. The Eagles have lost three straight games since opening the season 3-1. Reid said after the game Sunday the same thing he said the day after the Eagles’ loss to the Lions – that he’ll take a look at the starting quarterback position over the next few days. Rookie Nick Foles, who is No. 2, has never played an NFL snap. Veteran Trent Edwards is No. 3. The Eagles travel to New Orleans next weekend for a nationally televised Monday night game against the Saints. Read More Here!

Michael Vick Could Lose Starting Job While Healthy

It would come as no surprise to see Nick Foles take over as the Philadelphia Eagles' starting quarterback should Michael Vick go down with yet another injury.  However, Vick may be replaced while healthy.  The Eagles fell to 3-4 on the season and coach Andy Reid is working on saving his own neck.  The only way to do that would be to save the Eagles' season. According...

QB Vick will stay in Eagles lineup

Michael Vick will remain the starting quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles. Coach Andy Reid announced the decision on Wednesday. The Eagles are off and Reid and Vick are not scheduled to address the media again until Thursday. The time for Eagles’ Andy Reid to panic is now

The Philadelphia Eagles longtime Head Coach Andy Reid is slowly coming to the realization that this season will be his last. Andy Reid on the hot seat rumors happen every year, but this season, more than any other season has shown signals from actions and rhetoric that this may be the last. Firstly, Juan Castillo fired during the Bye Week is a move that shows the desperation the...

Eagles to stick with Vick as McNabb chimes in

For all intents and purposes it looks as if Eagles quarterback Michael Vick will live to fight another day. As Philadelphia prepares to face another struggling group in the New Orleans Saints, coach Andy Reid certainly can’t handle trying to repair his suspect defense and work in a new signal caller in the same week. There must be order and the Saints can without a doubt offensively...

Donovan McNabb defends Michael Vick: Maybe the offensive line should be benched

If there is anyone who can relate to the struggles Michael Vick is going through and the pressure he is under while playing for the Philadelphia Eagles, it’s Donovan McNabb. The Philadelphia media had its way with McNabb for years and there were times when the fans were worse. During an appearance on “NFL AM”  Tuesday morning, McNabb defended Vick in the wake of reports that...
