The Green Bay Packers sign two linebackers

With the Packers losing linebackers left and right they decided to ink veteran linebackers Matt Wilhelm & Erik Walden.  The 29-year old Wilhelm played in 11 games for the 49ers last season and he had 18 tackles.  Wilhelm has now played in 82 games for the Niners and he has 238 tackles, 12 passes defensed, 2 sacks, 1 forced fumble and 6 interceptions.  Wilhelm has a higher upside than Walden at this point of their careers.  The 25-year old Walden played in 11 games for the Dolphins last season and he had 8 tackles.  Walden has now played in 26 games in his first three years in the NFL and he has 23 tackles.
