Black And Teal:
No, the Atlanta Falcons aren’t moving the Jacksonville. It sure seems that way though with the advent of Mike Mularkey and Bob Bratkowski.

Obviously I’m exaggerating a little bit, but when a new head coach is assembling his staff and team he tends to favor people he’s worked with and trusts. We’ve already seen evidence of that with the hire of Bratkowski – a long time friend and colleague of Mularkey.
So who else from Atlanta could be packing their bags for Jacksonville? Find out after the jump. … [visit site to read more]

Jacksonville Jaguars Need To Be Aggressive In Free Agency
New Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Mike Mularkey has not even been in town for a week, but he is already under an immense amount of pressure to bring winning football back to Jacksonville.
The Jaguars new owner, Shahid Khan, now has a coach and general manager under three-year contracts and a mandate to turn around a franchise that has only won one playoff game since 1999. If Mularkey...
Falcons seek more dynamic offense under Koetter
FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. If his pedigree is any indication, then Falcons fans might see more of a dynamic offense with new offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter calling the shots.
He was on the same staff with Philadelphia Eagles coach Andy Reid in three different places. He worked at Oregon under Mike Bellotti, where he was on the same staff with current Boise State coach Chris Peterson...
Swap Meet: Falcons, Jaguars Exchange Offensive Coordinators
Here’s a question for Atlanta Falcons fans. How do you improve an offense that was shutout in the playoffs? By hiring the offensive coordinator of the leagues’ last-ranked offense, that’s how. Or at least that seems to be the reasoning of Atlanta’s management. After “losing” offensive coordinator Mike Mularkey to the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Falcons hired the Jaguars...
Patriot castoff James Sanders still feels a connection with his old team
Caught up with old friend James Sanders last week, after the Falcons were eliminated by the Giants in the wild card round. The former Patriots safety was the subject of the lead to my NFL Notes today.
Sanders had made the only memorable play for Atlanta in their game with the Giants, when he sacked Eli Manning in the endzone for a safety to give the Falcons a 2-0 lead. After that...
Falcons to hire Koetter
Chris Mortensen of ESPN reports that league sources have indicated the Falcons have hired former Jacksonville Jaguars offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter as their new offensive coordinator, replacing Mike Mularkey who took over the Jacksonville head coaching position this past week.
Koetter first joined the Jaguars in 2007, the last season where current Falcons head coach Mike Smith...
Dirk Koetter to become Falcons offensive coordinator
Dirk Koetter, formerly of the Jacksonville Jaguars, agreed to terms on Sunday to become the Falcons new offensive coordinator, the team confirmed.
Koetter, 52, was Jacksonville’s offensive coordinator from 2007 to 2011. He will replace Mike Mularkey, who left to become Jacksonville’s head coach.
Smith is high on Koetter’s work and how running back Maurice Jones-Drew led...
In good hands
What happens if Justin Blackmon has already been drafted by the time the Jacksonville Jaguars are up with the 7th pick? I say the Jaguars stick with the plan of going BAR (best available receiver) in the first round. If Blackmon is gone then they should draft Alshon Jeffery out of South Carolina. Alshon has all the tools the Jaguars need in a top receiver. He has great size...
Mularkey Hires Coordinators: Tucker Stays, Bratkowski Comes On Board
Yeah, I wouldn't be excited to be in Cincy either, Bob. Welcome to Florida! Source: blogs.ajc.com
On Friday, Jags head coach Mike Mularkey began to shake things up in Jacksonville. When originally hired, he had mentioned he had identified some holes in the Jaguars’ defense that could be exploited. He said he was going to have a chat with Mel Tucker about the defense...
Falcons' Bratkowski to run Jags' offense (AP)
The Jacksonville Jaguars have retained defensive coordinator Mel Tucker and hired Atlanta Falcons quarterbacks coach Bob Bratkowski as offensive coordinator. New coach Mike Mularkey made the hires late Thursday, his first personnel decisions since taking over Tuesday. The Jaguars wanted to keep Tucker all along.
