It’s way too early in the season to begin making blanket statements about any given team, or at least most teams, but one thing is undeniable when talking about the Kansas City Chiefs. They look very, very good. After dispatching the Philadelphia Eagles’ high-octane offense, the Kansas City Chiefs, a team that has been marred by poor management in recent years, are now a league leading 3-0. With games against the Giants, Titans and Raiders coming up, it’s easy to imagine a scenario in which the Chiefs push their record to 6-0. The Chiefs were actually somewhat talented a season ago. Despite a terrible record, they weren’t actually missing that many pieces of the puzzle. They lacked a great coach, and their quarterback situation was laughable. The injury bug has hit the Chiefs hard over the past two seasons as well, leading to records that haven’t been indicative of the Chiefs’ actual ability. Those missing pieces are now present and accounted for in Kansas City. Andy Reid has ...

The NFL credits Justin Houston another sack from last night

The NFL announced Friday it credited Chiefs OLB Justin Houston with an additional sack in Thursday night’s Week 3 win over Philadelphia, bringing his game total to 4.5. The NFL’s sack leader on the season, Houston has 7.5 through three games. Justin Houston on Thursday became the NFL’s third-fastest pass rusher to record 20 sacks […]

WR Donnie Avery's big night helps Chiefs offense

Kansas City Chiefs WR Donnie Avery had seven catches for 141 yards, passing his combined total of four catches and 49 yards in the Chiefs’ first two games of the season. Twice Avery converted third and very long situations to give the offense a much needed boost.

WATCH: Reid gets weird with Paolantonio in postgame interview

Things got a little pushy and a lot weird as Kansas City Chiefs new coach Andy Reid made his way through the postgame scrum of reporters and photographers after his team had just defeated his former team the Eagles, 26-16, on his old stomping grounds at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. When ESPN's Sal Paolantonio approached the coach —after what had to be a gratifying...

Creepy K.C. Chiefs fan harassing Melissa Stark (video)

Poor Melissa Stark. Why did the NFL subject her to being put in harm’s way of the cretins? And it’s not just Melissa Stark, it’s any woman, or man, because both genders have to deal with the dregs of society when networks do these dumb live shows interacting with the fans. Look at the creepy guy on the right in the Kansas City Chiefs Joe Montana jersey. Watch him stare at the...

How is Andy Reid received by Eagles fans? NFL Week 3 Picks

After a 9-7 week 2 and 18-14 overall, here are my week 3 picks. Philadelphia over Kansas City - The Eagles high powered offense will be too much for Andy Reid and the Chiefs as Reid returns to Philly.Houston over Baltimore - The Ravens have struggled on offense so far this year, not good with J.J. Watt coming to town.Green Bay over Cincinnati - Aaron Rodgers and Co. are too much...

Faux Andy Reids Invade Chiefs’ Bar In Philly

Andy Reid or The Kool Aid Man Alex Smith Has His Own Cereal ‘Cap’n Checkdown’

Jamaal’s the Eggman, Reid Is the Walrus, Goo-Goo-G’Joob!

It was a nice return to Philly for the Walrus, Andy Reid, as his Chiefs took down his former team.  The team that has been a talk of the NFL despite starting 1-1 with a defense made of wet paper with holes big enough to make Jenna Jamison blush has overshadowed Reid’s new team.  You know, the one that has flown under the radar to a 2-0, now 3-0 start.  This isn’t fantasy relevant...

Faulty Friday Photoshop: Big Red

Andy Reid came back to Philadelphia last night as head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs and emerged victorious. Reid is often called Big Red. While watching the Netflix series Orange is the New Black, seeing a character in charge named Red just reminded me of Reid. Also, as a bonus, here’s the Andy Reid as a tomato photoshop that I made that’s been making the rounds. I probably...

NFL Week 3 Wrap Ups: Chiefs over Eagles

def.  FINAL SCORE: 26-16 GAME MVP: Justin Houston (3.5 Sacks, 2 Fum Rec) ANALYSIS: This was a pretty ugly game early on, but it cleaned up a bit in the second half. It seemed like Philly was turning it over every single drive, so it was disappointing to see the Chiefs muster up only 9 offensive points before the half. Alex Smith was his typical self; not making...

Andy Reid Gives Rather Awkward Interview With Sal Paolantonio After Win Over Eagles (Video)

Kansas City Chiefs pulled off their greatest victory of the young season Thursday night in Philadelphia, but Andy Reid didn’t seem too keen on talking about it afterward. The win was a big step for the Chiefs, pushing them to 3-0 after winning just two games in 2012, but it was monumental for Reid, who had spent 14 seasons with the Eagles before getting run out of town after last...

Chiefs vs. Eagles Recap: Simply Put KC 3-0

It wasn’t a pretty NFL game but in the end the better team won Thursday night. In defeating the Philadelphia Eagles 26-16, the Kansas City Chiefs move to 3-0 and lay claim that 2013 could become something special.
