The Lynchpin was ROLLING last week going 13-1 heads up and look to continue the same magic rolling into Thanksgiving day opening Week 12. There are a LOT of intriguing match ups this week, and I will need all my research, stats, and luck to pick them on Sunday! Here’s what I got for the Thursday 3-pack – Good luck betters! Houston Texans (-4) @ Detroit Lions  – Houston coming off a lackluster performance, and had to rally to catch up to Jacksonville, and then beat them in OT. They took the Jags lightly and nearly paid the price. They will look to prove themselves against the Lions, and I think they beat them on the road, and get out of town and ready for Indy next week. Texans win Washington Redskins vs Dallas Cowboys (-3) – RG3 returns to Texas where he’ll have friends, family, and Baylor coaches there watching him against Tony Romo who is MONEY in November and undefeated on Thanksgiving Day. The line is tight, and really could go either way. I’m putting my money on the Dallas Cowboys, who need this one to put pressure on the Giants in the playoff hunt! Dallas Wins New England Patriots (-7.5) at New York Jets  – Life without Gronkowski begins for the Patriots, who will be getting Hernandez back. Their opening meeting went into overtime, and expect a heavy contested game. If Sanchez plays well, this game will be close. I expect the Patriots to win, but the Jets will be in this game. Patriots Win Happy Thanksgiving to all my Amercian friends!

Tony Romo And The Dallas Cowboys -Will Shedule Help Playoff Run?

As it stands right now, there are eight teams in the NFC with a realistic chance of making the playoffs, with six weeks left in the season. Rob Ryan: Hopefully Robert Griffin III has a bad Thanksgiving

Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Rob Ryan faces a tough task Thursday in trying to stop Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III. “He is a special player,” said Ryan via The Dallas Morning News. “That’s why they traded half a team to get him. Obviously, he’s a tremendous athlete and they say he is a hell of a kid. I don’t like him, but I know he is very...

Cowboys' playoff hopes getting dark

ARLINGTON, Texas When the Cowboys led the Redskins, 3-0, in the first quarter Thursday, the skies were blue through the open roof at Cowboys Stadium. Then dark clouds rolled in and a light rain began. Even if you're not into omens, it was pretty spooky that the darkness coincided with the Redskins taking the control of the game. Washington scored 28 points in the second quarter...

Happy Thanksgiving

One of the great traditions we have here at Idiots on Sports is wishing our readers a Happy Thanksgiving the only way we know how - by celebrating the great Les Nessman Turkey Drop episode from WKRP in Cincinnati. So dear friends, may you eat too much, drink too much and fall into a turkey coma while Tony Romo throws wildly into coverage in the fourth quarter of a close game. It...

Cowboys keep falling behind big early at home

(Eds: Updates with quotes, details. With AP Photos.) By STEPHEN HAWKINS AP Sports Writer Tony Romo will spend much of his extended weekend trying to figure out how the Dallas Cowboys can get off to better starts. Fantasy Football Sleepers: Week 12

Fantasy Football Sleepers: Week 12 Thanksgiving already offered up three big games for us to enjoy, which means there’s only 13 match-ups left on the slate. Incredibly, those three games featured all six starting quarterbacks surpass the 300 yard mark, including Matt Stafford and Tony Romo north of 400. While we can’t expect every signal-caller to top 300 yards, there’s plenty...

Home Team in CAPS DALLAS COWBOYS -3 vs. Washington Redskins Tony Romo has now gone three straight games without...
