Found April 26, 2012 on Leftover Hot Dog:
The NFL Draft Report called Stephon Gilmore “The Most Complete Cornerback.” The Buffalo Bills got him as the number 10 pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. The 6-foot, 193-pound Gilmore was a three-year starter at USC.  In 40 games, Gilmore finished with eight interceptions, including four last season, seven sacks and 15 tackles for a loss. Gilmore ran a 4.4 second 40-yard dash at this year's NFL combine, which was the third fastest time among defensive backs in this draft class. He also ranked among the top five defensive back performers in both the 20-yard shuttle (3.94, second) and the 60-yard shuttle (11.15, fourth).Gilmore’s expected to immediately compete for a starting job on what’s becoming an aging defensive backfield in Buffalo. Drayton Florence, a nine-year NFL veteran, is in the final year of his contract. Terrence McGee, also a nine-year veteran, has been injury prone.Congrats to Mr. Gilmore as he will represent South Carolina well and he will always be a Gamecock. He cont...

Buffalo Bills select Stephon Gilmore, Grade B

The Buffalo Bills defense is going to be surprisingly formidable in 2012. I’m not crazy about Stephon Gilmore, especially not in the top 10, but he fills an obvious need and gives them the depth they need to compete with the Patriots. I probably would have tried to trade down if I were them but, assuming that wasn’t option, Gilmore was one of the few prospects on the board capable...

Bills Take Gilmore; Why He Will Be Successful In Buffalo

Last night the Buffalo Bills passed over wide receiver Michael Floyd and instead drafted corner back Stephon Gilmore from the University of South Carolina. Gilmore has the potential to become and, in my opinion, will become a top 10 corner in the NFL within the next 2-4 years. The reason being is simple – he doesn’t allow completions. In three full seasons at the USC, Gilmore...

2012 NFL Draft: Stephon Gilmore Bound For Buffalo

It wasn't sexy, but it wasn't a worthless pick by any means. As the Bills already had their front pass defense fixes from free agency, they started the 2012 Draft by addressing the backfield. Part of their continued effort to improve their 19th ranked pass defense (you thought it was all fixed after free agency?), Buffalo takes 6'0", 190lb cornerback Stephon Gilmore...

Buffalo Bills select Cordy Glenn, Grade A+

The Buffalo Bills continue to have a brilliant offseason. Cordy Glenn doesn’t solve the issue at right tackle, but the Bills will probably plug him in at right tackle and leave him there for the next decade. Glenn’s upside is relatively modest, which is probably why he fell, but I love this selection for the Bills because he is such a safe selection. He will be a quality starter...

Bills top pick Gilmore dreamed of NFL opportunity

Stephon Gilmore is not unlike many youngsters who dream of one day playing in the NFL. It's not every child who has to share that dream with their mother at 4 in the morning. That's the memory Gilmore's mother, Linda, has of being shaken awake from a dead sleep by her excited seven-year-old some 15 years ago. The dream that he was on an NFL team was so vivid that there...

With the 10th pick of the 2012 draft

The Buffalo Bills once again make a deffensive move, this team is going to be very tough on the defense.  But what are they going to do about the lack of offense.  No upgrade in the QB position?  There was about four QBs that would of helped improved the Buffalo Bills offense.  NEWS FLASH – Fitzpatrick is not the answer!

Bills continue defensive overhaul with CB Gilmore

With Terrence McGee's injury history, Drayton Florence's aging legs and Leodis McKelvin's unfulfilled potential, cornerback was a position of a need on the backburner if not front burner for the Bills heading into the NFL Draft. And while help for the offense in the form of a left tackle or wide receiver would've been prudent and hard to argue against, general manager...

Graham Drafted in Third Round

T.J. Graham was the first NC State player taken in the 2012 NFL Draft, selected by the Buffalo Bills in the 3rd round with the 69th overall pick.

Buffalo Bills Upgrade Offense On Day 2 Of Draft

Two more rounds in the books and Buffalo just continues to diligently address their needs with quality in the 2012 Draft. After taking the soft-spoken, yet tenacious Stephon Gilmore to shore up the defense, Buddy Nix and the Bills turned to offense in the second and third rounds, giving their "franchise" quarterback first some protection, then some speed on the outside...

NFL Draft Videostat Profile: WR T.Y. Hilton

T.Y. Hilton, WR, Florida International, 5’10, 185 lbs... Positives T.Y. Hilton is an undersized speedster who could climb into the middle rounds. He's an explosive receiver with shifty quickness and enough burst to run past defenders. He's has the skill set to take bubble screens and other short passes and make the most of them. Think of Hilton as a Wes Welker type...

NFL Draft Videostat Profile: WR Chris Owusu

We're switching gears and taking a look at some potential sleepers in this year's draft, starting off with Stanford's Chris Owusu: Positives When you have Andrew Luck as a QB, you learn things in a Pro style. Owusu is very fast, running a 4.31 – 4.36 at the combine in February. When healthy, he plays like a second or third rounder.  Reliable on the field, good...
