According to Jason LaCanfora of the NFL Network, there are at least four teams interested in free agent running back Michael Bush.
Bush has already visited both the Chicago Bears and Cincinnati Bengals. The Seattle Seahawks are looking to schedule their own visit as well.
So far the market for running backs has been slow, so right it looks like things will take some time to develop.
The Miami Dolphins have been unable to get players and coaches they have had on their radar for the past two seasons, can they finally sign a player that they are interested in? Free Agent QB Matt Flynn is scheduled to visit with the Miami Dolphins today according to Jason LaCanfora on Twitter.
LaCanfora reports on Twitter, “QB Matt Flynn in Miami today for his visit...
According to Jason LaCanfora of the NFL Network, free agent quarterback Matt Flynn has left the Seattle Seahawks without a contract. He’s now down in Miami visiting with the Dolphins.
Yesterday we mentioned the Dolphins are considered to be the front-runners to land Flynn at this point. But they’ve been low-balling him because they’re hoping he’ll almost take any amount...
According to Jason LaCanfora of the NFL Network, the San Francisco 49ers contract proposal of $24 million over three years is still on the table if quarterback Alex Smith wants to accept it.
People around the league believe the only reason Smith is talking to the Dolphins right now, is to gain some leverage. But let’s face it, $8 million a year for a guy like Smith is a good...
According to Jason LaCanfora of the NFL Network, free agent wide receiver Plaxico Burress has been in contact with multiple NFL teams, including the Philadelphia Eagles.
Burress has made it clear that he’d love to play for the Eagles next season, but so far he remains a free man as he tests the free agent market.
According to Jason LaCanfora of the NFL Network, the Detroit Lions are working hard to re-sign veteran linebacker Stephen Tulloch.
The free agent market for linebackers at this point has been very slow, which could lead to Tulloch coming back to the Lions.
Tulloch racked up 111 tackles, 3 sacks and 2 interceptions.
Running back Mike Tolbert has agreed to a four-year deal with the Carolina Panthers, according to Jason LaCanfora of the NFL Network.
Tolbert will now enter a crowded backfield in Carolina and will fight for carries with DeAngelo Williams, Jonathan Stewart, plus quarterback Cam Newton. But perhaps Tolbert will work as the goal-line back, and the Panthers could opt to...
Quarterback Matt Flynn is meeting with the Miami Dolphins Saturday, according to Jason LaCanfora of the NFL Network.
Flynn left Seattle Friday without agreeing to a deal, and will now see what Miami has to offer. The Dolphins would give him a chance to start with Chad Henne now in Jacksonville and Matt Moore merely serviceable -- but the downside is that the AFC East...
According to Jason LaCanfora of the NFL Network, the Seattle Seahawks signed defensive end Jason Jones to a one-year deal.
The 25 year-old Jones has played the previous four seasons with the Titans and recorded 27 tackles and 3 sacks in 2011.
According to Jason LaCanfora of the NFL Network, the Carolina Panthers have signed running back Mike Tolbert to a four-year deal.
With the addition of Tolbert, I wouldn’t be surprised if Jonathan Stewart ends up being traded, since he’s going into the final year of his current contract.
Tolbert carried the ball 121 times for 490 yards and 8 touchdowns in 2011.
According to Jason LaCanfora of the NFL Network, the Tennessee Titans have scheduled a visit with free agent cornerback Tracy Porter.
Another team that might also be interested in Porter, is the St. Louis Rams.
It’s quite surprising that Porter is still available on the open market after a strong start to his career with the Saints.
According to Jason LaCanfora of the NFL Network, the Denver Broncos have scheduled visits with former Colts center Jeff Saturday, as well as former Colts/Broncos wide receiver Brandon Stokley.
LaCanfora also mentioned that tight ends Dallas Clark and/or Jacob Tamme could end up in Denver as well.
The Broncos are being smart by trying to bring in as many guys as possible that Manning...
