We all remember seeing the clips of Brady Quinn and Aaron Rodgers sitting in the green room during the NFL Draft, just waiting for their names to be called. But they just sat there for hours as the picks came in, and others were selected ahead of them. It became so bad for Quinn, that Roger Goodell actually invited him and his family to a private suite so that he didn’t have the whole entire national audience watching him in silent agony and embarrassment as teams passed over him.It made Goodell seem like a guy with a bit of heart that day, but don’t think that Goodell doesn’t know entertainment value when he sees it. And he see Manti Te’o as that opportunity for this years draft. Foresight tells us that this draft is incredibly weak, at least in comparison to last years which included a Heisman Trophy winner, and another can’t miss quarterback that was selected ahead of him. There isn’t a single player that has big buzz with the public, except for Te’o. But, we know it isn’t for his play.
