The Patriots are putting up video game scores again on offense.  They need just a little out of their defense to win the Super Bowl. After an average Thanksgiving week of picks I'm sitting at 114-63.  I need to step my game up as we sprint to the postseason. Jacksonville at Buffalo - Chad Henne is proving that he can play QB in the NFL.  I liked him in Miami and thought they should have held onto him.  The Jaguars are not a good team, but Henne's value increases every week. The Bills are one of many teams in the NFL that will be looking at the QB position as soon as the season ends.  They have a running game, some receivers and a solid TE on offense, they need a QB that won't turn it over.  Their defense is a mess too but there's too much to get into here. I'll go with Henne and the Jaguars here. Seattle at Chicago - This is a match-up of two very good defenses.  The Seahawks have an elite RB to go along with their great defense.  They...

Patriots offensive line finds success amid change

From the onset of training camp, the New England Patriots offensive line has been a work in progress, a mix of experience and youth that led to a handful of questions. There's still uncertainty surrounding who's playing which position each week, but there's little doubt remaining about the level of protection provided to the quarterback. After surrendering 12 sacks...

Logan Mankins, Chandler Jones, Rob Gronkowski ruled out for Sunday

In some news that you already knew, those three will not be suiting up to play the Miami Dolphins. All three of them did not practice all week, so this was expected. David Whitley Cites ‘Two Adopted African-American Daughters’ as Proof He’s Not Racist

Bill Belichick and the Patriots created Spygate. The New Orleans Saints created Bountygate. This week, The Sporting News’ David Whitley created Tattoogate. As foolish as his column was on Colin Kaepernick‘s ink, Whitley certainly succeeded in gaining the attention he desired when he published his views of the 49ers quarterback breaking the mold of the clean-cut QB. “[The...

Round Table: Defensive Improvement

Has the New England defense turned the corner or is this still a unit that should worry Pats fans? Jason:  You can still count me as concerned. The defense has been staked to early leads in the past two weeks and benefitted from several gift-wrapped turnovers, so we haven't seen what they can do in a close game when the pressure is really on and the other team isn'...
