So now that we’re through six games and the Giants are 4-2 and tied for the NFC East lead, it all gets interesting and intriguing now. Not that the Giants ever play boring football games, but let’s face it–they’ve had Detroit and Carolina on the schedule. But this Monday, the season really begins, as the G-men travel to Dallas to take on their fierce division rivals, the Cowboys.
The fact that the Giants’ first divisional match-up is in Week 7 sure is interesting. That means they will play six of said division games in the final 10 games. Yikes.
But there is a ton more intrigue to this one. Last year, the Giants helped christen the new Cowboys’ stadium with an upset win in Week 2. Then they beat them later in the season to sweep the series, despite going just 8-8 overall. This year, the Giants travel to Dallas to face the 1-4 Cowboys. Yes, you read that correctly.
