Tony Gonzalez who is toying with the idea of retirement should come back and play for the Falcons in 2013. There is no good reason for him to consider retiring. The guy is still producing at a very high level on the Football field. He is a pros pro and he can out-perform many of the NFL’s tight ends. The guy had a great 17th NFL season and I am positive he could perform even better in his 18th NFL season. Gonzalez finished his 17th season in the 10th spot on the receivers list, is that the sign it is time to hang up your cleats? No. Gonzalez had 93 catches for 930 yards in the regular season. He had another 14 catches for another 129 yards in the post season to finish in a tie for 8th in post season catches. I ask you again is this a sign he should retire? no Gonzalez is a big strong guy who is relatively healthy. He could contribute to the Atlanta Falcons in 2013 and help them win football games.
