There seem to be conflicting reports swirling in the air around Jacksonville, Florida the home of the Jacksonville Jaguars. On the one hand there are reports that Jacksonville wants to make substantial changes this offseason in order to be able to win games, but on the other hand there are reports that are saying it is "virtually certain" that Tim Tebow will be a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2013.As much as NFL fans and fans of the Jacksonville Jaguars might like having Tebow on their team, the truth of the matter is that Jacksonville will have to choose, winning games or have Tebow as a Jaguar.Tebow is not the answer the Jaguars are looking for. In 2011 season and the playoffs Tebow had 12 games where he finished the game with a passing completion rate of 50 percent or lower, three of those games saw him finish with a pass completion percentage of less than 35 percent, and he six games where he did not complete more than nine passes. In limited passing action this ...

The Jets refuse to start Tim Tebow at QB, even in the last game of the season. Week 17 preview.

The Jets are going back to Sanchez instead of giving Tebow a chance. Entering the last week of the season I'm sitting at 153-87.  That's ok but not great.  I'd like to be over 170 for the season, but it is what it is at this point.  Let's finish strong. With teams resting players and teams out, I'll also take a look at the postseason and offseason...

Tim Tebow to Jacksonville might be a stretch

Even with a recent report that Jets quarterback Tim Tebow could end up with the Jacksonville Jaguars next season,  Arthur Arkush of ProFootballWeekly.com says it’s probably a stretch to believe that he’ll be a Jaguar in 2013. After doing a little digging, we hear that categorizing his arrival in Jacksonville after the season as imminent is a major stretch. Khan’s prior interest...

Better odds on Sunday: Seeing Tebow in Wildcat or Giants in playoffs?

New York football fans are faced with a big choice Sunday afternoon: Who'd you rather — the Jets or the Giants? To many it's like picking your poison but this is what the season for fans of both teams has come down to — hoping to get one last chance at seeing Tim Tebow play with Gang Green or praying that the Giants make the playoffs with the help of a miracle. The...

Not buying Tim Tebow’s Wildcat denial

Three days after a report was published saying Tim Tebow told the New York Jets coaches that he didn’t want to be a part of the team’s Wildcat offensive package last week, the quarterback issued a firm denial. “I never said, ‘Hey, I don’t want to do anything or I won’t do anything,’” Tebow told reporters Wednesday, via the Associated Press. “That wasn’t the talk...

Why can't Tebow play quarterback?

The biggest lie circulating about Tim Tebow is not that he is selfish. It is that he cannot play. Says who? Jets coach Rex Ryan? ESPN talker Merril Hoge? One is at the helm of the biggest hot mess going in the NFL at the moment, and the other has a thing for Tebow that feels almost uncomfortable. Hoge uses whatever Tebow does, from jogging shirtless to eating a hamburger from a...

Rex Ryan: Tim Tebow would have played if I thought he would have helped us

The New York Jets ended a disappointing season with a 28-9 loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. While Rex Ryan is undoubtedly upset with the way his team performed this year, he has to be relieved that he no longer has to deal with arguably the ugliest quarterback situation in the NFL. When the Jets acquired Tim Tebow, Ryan warned opponents that they had better be prepared to face...

NFL Rumors: While The Media Still Obsesses Over Him, Clearly, Rex Ryan Hates Tim Tebow

The media world will apparently always obsess over New York Jets third string quarterback Tim Tebow. Never has a player who cannot even start on a terrible team drawn so much attention without committing a crime. Yet, despite the fact that Tebow continues to sit as one awful quarterback after another makes a start for the woeful Jets in another lost season. Clearly, regardless of...

Mike Tannenbaum’s Firing Should Come as No Surprise, As Fate Was Sealed When Tim Tebow Arrived

General manager Mike Tannenbaum‘s tenure in New York is over, and it’s all Tim Tebow‘s fault. Well, that’s not necessarily true, but Tebow’s arrival did play a big part in Tannenbaum’s early exit in New York. Tannenbaum was with the Jets for almost 15 years in various capacities, including as general manager since 2006. He brought the team back to the brink of an AFC...

Jets’ Quarterback Debacle, Joe Flacco’s Un-Elite Play Among Top 10 NFL Disappointments This Season (Photos)

Another day, another controversy for the New York Jets. This time, it’s another change under center for Gang Green, with Mark Sanchez re-taking the starting job from injured Greg McElroy (and Rex Ryan once again passing over Tim Tebow). In a season filled with ups and downs, New York has seen its fair share of downs, no doubt to the chagrin of the many onlookers who believed...

Mark Sanchez Admits He ‘Underachieved’ in 2012, But Still Feels Jets Are ‘Destined for Great Stuff’

Remember when Tim Tebow‘s presence was supposed to light a fire under Mark Sanchez and thus make him a better quarterback? Me neither. In a season in which everything went wrong for the Jets, Sanchez was particularly brutal, tossing 18 interceptions and just 13 touchdown passes while completing only 54.3 percent of his passes. In other words, not only did the fourth-year quarterback...

Greg McElroy hid concussion from Jets

Lost in the fray of the Jets' decision to reanoint Mark Sanchez and rebuff Tim Tebow was the issue of Greg McElroy's out-of-the-blue concussion. The second year signal-caller suffered the brain injury in Week 16, when he was sacked an astonishing 11 times. But he didn't want it to get out. ESPNNewYork.com reports that McElroy hid his concussion symptoms "for days...

New York Jets: 'Sexy-Rexy' Era Must Come to an End

This may come to a shock to most New York Jets fans, but quarterbacks Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow aren't to blame for the Jets demise. This is because there are two other individuals which has cost this team dearly.Yes, it's most definitely Rex Ryan and his incompetent counterpart Mike Tannenbaum. When the Jets lose to the Buffalo Bills in tomorrow's week 17 match-up hopefully...
