The NFL Most Valuable Player award is given annually to the player who is deemed to be the most valuable in the league throughout the course of the season. Legendary gridiron warriors like Jim Brown, Johnny Unitas, and Joe Montana have all received MVP honors at one time or another.  Modern day heroes such as Tom Brady, Peyton Manning and the on again off again Brett Favre are multiple recipients of this coveted honor.  In the 2011 NFL season Aaron Rodgers’ stellar play has put him out in front of the pack in the MVP race.  Other names such as the likes of Drew Brees and Arian Foster have been tossed out there.  Could Tim Tebow come out of nowhere as the dark horse in the NFL 2011 MVP race and win the honor?  He absolutely can and here’s why. • I understand the sentiment, and he is an affable guy. But the guy's only been in the game since 2010. Let him show some consistency, and then we'll talk about MVP.
  • His ass belongs to that coach from Penn State!
  • He would be 0-5 if his defense didn't keep him in the game. Great that he does well in the last 5 minutes, but with other teams, he would be in a 24 point hole by the time he does his heroics.
  • I'm not a Tebow fan, but I don't understand all the hate for this kid. It's not his fault the media has overhyped everything he's ever done.
