NOTES LB Patrick Bailey got the first punt block of his NFL career on Sunday, getting his arm on a Pat McAfee punt in the end zone. Shortly after, teammate Jason McCourty recovered the ball for a touchdown. Bailey even had a wound to show for his efforts. After the game, Bailey's right biceps still bore a red spot where his arm had made contact with the football. WR Nate Washington grabbed the goal post after he scored his second touchdown of the game and dunked the ball over it. "I actually was thinking about that (that I might get stuck), so that was the reason I grabbed the goalpost, so I wouldn't get hung," Washington said. The Titans will face their former first-round pick from 2005 - Adam "Pacman" Jones - on Sunday when the Cincinnati Bengals come to town. "He was an exciting player when he was here and when he was on the field," coach Mike Munchak said. "We had some exciting players that year with him and with Vince (Young). Whenever he got his hands on the ball, he was really fun to watch." PLAYER NOTES LB Colin McCarthy should be able to return to the practice field this week after missing two games with a hamstring injury originally suffered against Pittsburgh. CB Cortland Finnegan had ice on his right hand, but the injury is not considered to be serious. TE Craig Stevens should return to the practice field this week after missing Sunday's game with a rib cartilage injury. Stevens has tried to play through the injury but was deactivated Sunday to allow him a better chance to heal. RB Javon Ringer had a career-high 60 yards rushing on Sunday and will most likely earn himself some extra playing time at least in the short term. T Mike Otto doubled as the extra blocking tight end with Craig Stevens out. It is a role Otto has helped fill in with over the past couple of seasons as needed. REPORT CARD VS. COLTS PASSING OFFENSE: B - Matt Hasselbeck bounced back with a solid start against the porous Colts defense, hitting 23 of 33 passes for 224 yards and a touchdown. Hasselbeck had had problems the previous two weeks, but Indy proved to be the proper antidote for any passing ills. RUSHING OFFENSE: D - Javon Ringer came on to save the day with 60 yards on 14 carries, after Chris Johnson struggled yet again on Sunday with just 34 yards on 14 carries. It looks like the running back rotation could be here to stay for a while. PASS DEFENSE: A - Granted it was an open-book test going against Curtis Painter instead of Peyton Manning, but the Titans still managed a pair of sacks and two interceptions on Sunday - one from Michael Griffin and one from Barrett Ruud. Painter still threw for 250 yards, but most of it was in garbage time. RUSH DEFENSE: B - The Titans held running back Delone Carter to 46 yards on Sunday, though Painter managed to scramble for a game-high 79 yards on seven rushes. SPECIAL TEAMS: A - The blocked punt by Patrick Bailey helped bail out an offense that started sluggishly and provided the Titans with their first touchdown of the game and a 10-0 lead. COACHING: B - The Titans didn't look crisp, but they did get the job done with a win over a team they should have beaten. The best move of the day was sticking with Ringer down the stretch since he had the hotter hand over Chris Johnson.
