Photo Credit: Donn Jones Photography/TitansOnline.com Tennessee tried to find an upgrade at the position earlier this offseason in free agency, but was unable to sign Jeff Saturday (took his talents to the Green Bay Packers), Scott Wells (signed with St. Louis) and Chris Myers (re-signed with Houston). Amano, 30, was a seventh-round selection (239th overall) by the Titans out of Southeast Missouri State in 2004. He started every game for the Titans last season and is only of a few NFL players to be born from the Philippines. Tim Tebow is the only other notable name. Third-year center Fernando Velasco has just three starts in his career and looks to become the starter, as Kevin Matthews, who was listed as second on the depth chart, is being held out right now due to post-concussion symptoms.
