Titus Young once compared himself to Barry Sanders, apparently forgetting that Sanders is one of the NFL’s all-time greats and that he doesn’t even play the same position as Sanders. Don’t worry, though, Young’s stupidity didn’t stop there. Young, who fought a teammate in college and sucker punched Lions teammate Louis Delmas in May, was sent home before Detroit’s Thanksgiving game against Houston for conduct detrimental to the team. Soon after, the Lions placed him on injured reserve, thus ending his season and showing that the team really is fed up with his nonsense. Well, with the season now over, Young is still expressing his discontent. The second-year wide receiver said on Twitter that he’d retire if the ball doesn’t start getting thrown his way, which Lions coach Jim Schwartz — as you might expect — found to be immature. But wait, there’s more. After hearing of Schwartz’s criticism, Young is once again throwing a Twitter hissy fit, even calling out some critical fans in the process. Oh, and by the way, Young has 81 catches through two seasons. It’s probably a little early for him to start using #HallofFame hashtags. Check out the absurdity below.
