The Detroit Lions might have to take drastic actions to keep receiver Titus Young out of the headlines.
The Lions' second-round pick in 2011 was at it again Friday, sending out more controversial remarks on Twitter. This time he directed the tweets toward team management.
"Oh I'm not done, if y'all going to cut me let me go. I'm tired of the threats," was sent out early Friday morning through his handle @TitusYoungSr. Which was then followed by "Never needed the money Give me a dollar and a ball bet I come back HallofFame."
More like Hall of Shame.
The new tweets come just days after Young ranted on Twitter about not being a selfish player, then posting "if I'm not going to get the football I don't want to play anymore."
Head coach Jim Schwartz downplayed the Tuesday tweets, telling the Detroit Free Press, "Every offensive player wants the football, and there's good ways to go about trying to get that done. This is a pretty good example of a not so good idea."
