Detroit Lions wide receiver Titus Young‘s future with his team remains murky at best. If Young is released from the Lions, he could have a hard time finding a job with another team if he keeps talking. The Boise State product in his second year found himself benched by the Lions this season after making comments about purposely lining up in the wrong location, sabotaging his own team.
On Wednesday, Young decided to take to Twitter and dig a deeper hole regarding his career. The vocal receiver tweeted that if he doesn’t get the ball, he doesn’t want to play anymore. “Like I said I never been selfish but if I’m not going to get the football i don’t want to play anymore.”
He didn’t stop there, “Never have I ran the wrong route, just put my self where the ball was going.”
The Lions were hoping that Young would become a compliment to Calvin Johnson, but at this point you have to wonder if the Lions will simply move on from Young and his immature behavior.
Even head coach Jim Schwartz too...
