NFL.com has confirmed that Tom Brady has been fined $10k for unnecessary roughness for his leg up slide into Ed Reed.
The incident occurred in the second quarter when Brady scrambled for the first down then slide leg first right as Ed Reed approached. After the game Ravens’ Bernard Pollard called Brady out for the action referring to the kick as ‘bullcrap’.
Brady has since apologized to Reed via text message.
