Tom Brady obviously wants Wes Welker to return, but is it really a good idea? As much as he’s known for taking huge hits and making plays, the star wide receiver has become known for clutch drops at costly times.
Welker came to New England in 2007 and quickly became a favorite with Brady and the fans; however, every relationship has to end. The Brady to Welker connection has come to an impasse with an end in sight, most likely with Welker parting ways with the Patriots.
Brady talked about Welker and his importance to the team.
