Tony Romo's Las Vegas trip with Miles Austin

Yes, Tony Romo went to Las Vegas during the Cowboys' long weekend after the 24-7 win against Oakland. Pictures on TMZ's Web site of Romo and wide receiver Miles Austin prove as much. But, according to a source close to Romo, the quarterback and wide receiver were in Las Vegas for a private charitable function that was planned months in advance and spent 14 hours in the city before returning to Dallas. He was at Valley Ranch Saturday morning for treatment on his injured back. Romo attended Monday's practice and coach Wade Phillips did not believe the sore back would limit Romo in preparing for Sunday's NFC East showdown against the New York Giants.
