Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo had his way against the Bucs Saturday night, completing 23 of 30 passes for 249 yards and a three touchdowns.
And the Bucs seemed incapable of doing anything about it.
Romo consistently bought time in the pocket, eluding the very occasional pass rusher before finding one of the many open receivers he hit throughout the night. Bucs coach Raheem Morris said the Bucs didn't execute when it came to the keys to limiting the elusive Romo.
"You have to four-man rush him and get after him," Morris said. "When you blitz him, he has the ability to leave the pocket, scramble, buy more time. We knew that was a problem right from the beginning. We tried to keep him out in front where you have rush lanes.
"But when you get out of your rush lanes, bad things happen. He made some things happen and he made some plays on us. We have to have what we had on the first third down of the second half. We have to have (receivers) covered up in zone, you ...
