Let's "jump-in" shall we (head first) let's talk about CHANGE, one of the definitions of Change is.... "to transform or convert" what do think the Cowboys need to "Change"?
What I know we don't need is a change at Quarterback, Tony Romo is going into his 6th year as the Cowboys Starter, he is heading into the PRIME of his NFL career. After signing as a undrafted free agent out of Eastern Illinois in 2003, #9 will be heading into his 9 year in the NFL, Tony Romo has a career passer rating of 96.9 making him second best of all time. A lot of Cowboy fans need to understand Tony Romo makes a very "Average" Team (I use that term very loosely) a "Contending" team. Can you honestly say the Cowboys would be better off with someone else running the team since 2006? Check these stats:

Pass attempts 2,592
Pass completions 1,672
Percentage 64.5
TD-INT 149-72
Passing yards 20,834

Are you kidding me? These are CAREER stats for many quarterbacks in the NFL.

The only thing I can see Tony Romo improving on is his ability to LEAD. Tony HAS TO take on more of a Hard Ass mentality, which we've all seen from time to time, so we know he has it in him. I know how frustrating watch Tony Romo play can be, especially with his decision making in certain times of the game, but as many questionable plays he has made throughout his career, he has made incredible plays as well (Think about that)

Did anyone catch the comment Jason Hatcher made the other day about the leadership on this Team (again, I use this word loosely) You have proven veterans an Pro-Bowlers at that everywhere on this team, are you kidding me? Witten, Ratliff, Ware, Romo to name a few. A comment like that (by Hatcher) really makes me wonder what's really going on in this lockeroom. I have a question for you J-Hatch... If you don't know who the leaders are on YOUR OWN TEAM, why don't you become THAT LEADER THEN?

CHANGE is NEVER easy, change takes discipline and a will to learn something new. We all have experienced it at one time or another in our lives. With that being said, we have to be patient. Not just with Tony Romo but with this developing TEAM. Most of the pieces are in place, but with new coaches an schemes, especially on defense, we are going to need the off season to develop that TEAM CHEMISTRY, we didn't have that on defense last year an we had it off and on, on offense, but not on a consistent basis.

I know, I know with Free Agency, TIME is not on anyone's side, but we have to develop a TEAM and a definition of TEAM IS... "To join together" has this Cowboy Squad "join to together"? Only the off-season will tell. I believe in the direction this team is going, I believe in Jerry Jones, I believe in Jason Garett and I STILL believe in Tony Romo.

You come back now, hear?
