Over the weekend, the New England Patriots ended the Tim Tebow era when they cut the four year veteran out of Florida, deciding to keep only two quarterbacks on their roster.  Upon his release, Tebow said that he would continue to pursue his dream of being an NFL quarterback.  With that said, here are five teams that could potentially use his services:Buffalo BillsIn their third preseason game against the Washington Redskins, the Bills were running the read-option with Kevin Kolb at quarterback who is not exactly known for his athleticism.  As we know, Kolb suffered a concussion in that game and with his history of sustaining head injuries, the Bills cannot count on him to return. When rookie E.J. Manuel is back he will be the starter, but anytime you run an offense in the NFL, when the quarterback is a primary runner, there will always be the threat of an injury looming.  Should Manuel get hurt again, Tebow could slide right in and take over.  Put him in shotgun with C.J. Spiller a...

  • Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't Tim Tebow and Matt Ryan have the same number of play-off victories? Tebow in Atlanta would certainly be interesting if, God forbid, something were to happen to Ryan. As dumb as he seems, he causes excitement and has won some big time ball games.
  • tim tebow should just go sign with the cleveland browns! that franchise has ruined even the greatest of greats of the quarterback position! first rounders, number one pics, it dont matter! thats where qb's go to polish off there careers! they will give him top dollar!

About Tim Tebow to the CFL

Over the weekend, quarterback guru Steve Clarkson suggested the Tim Tebow consider the option of playing in the Canadian Football League to hone his skills before attempting to continue his career in the NFL. A few months ago, it was reported that the Montreal Alouettes offered an invitation to Tebow, on that he declined. From all indications, he doesn’t really have a career left...

Tebow fails to draw NFL interest, doesn't want CFL job

It's been two days since the New England Patriots decided they were better off without Tim Tebow. NFL.com's Ian Rapoport said Monday on "NFL Total Access" that Tebow hasn't attracted any NFL interest since his release according to a source close to the free-agent quarterback. "Nothing is happening" Rapoport said. "Really nothing at all."...

Vote: Do You Agree With the Patriots’ Decision to Cut Tim Tebow?

Tim Tebow showed promise during his short tenure with the Patriots, but New England ultimately decided to let the quarterback go Saturday afternoon. After making it through one cut, the 26-year-old couldn’t survive the final roster trimming before the regular season gets underway. Tebow Time was short-lived in Boston, but should it have been? In the past, the Pats have only employed...

AP Source: Tim Tebow cut by Patriots

A person familiar with the situation says Tim Tebow has been cut by the New England Patriots. After being let go by his third team in 18 months - and with the regular season just five days away - the quarterback's chances of immediately catching on with another team seem slim. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the Patriots had not announced the move. It was...

New England Patriots release Tim Tebow

Tim Tebow is done with the New England Patriots. The next question is whether his NFL career is over too. The Patriots waived Tebow on Saturday morning ESPN reported. Tebow 26 signed a two-year contract with the Patriots in June that included no guarantees. In three preseason appearances he was 11-of-30 passing for 145 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. The Patriots...

Column: This could be last NFL chance for Tebow

(Eds: With AP Photos.) By TIM DAHLBERG AP Sports Columnist There wasn't much reason to dislike Tim Tebow, who never pretended to be anything he wasn't. Blame him for the Tebowing craze, if you will, but even that was worth a few laughs in a league that doesn't always embrace fun. There wasn't much reason to like him as an NFL quarterback, either. Three teams tried...

Johnny Manziel Tebowing?

Texas A&M will be without its quarterback for the first half of Saturday's season opener against the Rice Owls, but that is not going to stop the Aggie QB from trying to do his part to help the team out (hey--a little prayer never hurts anyone, right?). The big question may be this--now that Tim Tebow has been cut by the New England Patriots and likely done in the NFL...

The Tim Tebow experiment in New England is over

From ESPN: “The New England Patriots have released polarizing quarterback Tim Tebow, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter. Tebow, who signed with the Patriots in June, struggled to find consistency throughout the preseason. He never seriously threatened Ryan Mallett for the backup job behind Tom Brady.” Fin. Robert Kraft: I love Tim Tebow and I very much wanted him on the team

Patriots owner Robert Kraft appeared on CBS This Morning on Tuesday to discuss the concussion settlement and the Patroits’ hectic offseason.
