Last year was an impressive turn-around for Alex Smith.  He was once looked at as a first round bust that no matter who the coach was, he was doomed to lead the 49er's to failure. Enter Jim Harbaugh, under his tutelage, Smith led the 49er's to a NFC West title, and one game away from a Superbowl.However, due to Smith's injury, back-up rookie Colin Kaepernick has gotten the start the last two games, and has proven he is a dynamic quarterback that gives the 49er's the ability to open their playbook. Kaepernick is 2-0 and has shown he has plenty of velocity and accuracy on his throws as well as, the ability to use his legs to to make plays.  Making him a much more dynamic quarterback than Smith.Smith, (and this is not a knock) is considered a safe passer.  He doesn't try to force throws or take chances down-field unless there's a sure thing.  He is a nice quarterback to have granted he has an amazing offensive line (like the 49er's) and a complimentary running game.  He has shown he ca...

  • Awesome article and very creative. One small problem. You said Chad Henne led the Jaguars to two wins, that's factually incorrect. Henne led them to a win over Tennessee, which has been his only start for Jacksonville to date. He may lead them to a couple of more wins. In his other game, in which he came in relief, the Jaguars put up an amazing fight and did better than 99 % of the nation thought they would do, but they fell short to the Texans in an exciting game.
