Denver Broncos’ cornerback Tracy Porter has a thread in history with both Peyton Manning and Drew Brees.

When he was a member of the New Orleans Saints, his interception of Peyton Manning in the 2010 Super Bowl put the final nail in the Indianapolis Colts’ championship bid.

Manning along with Porter are now teammates fighting together and their team is poised to take on Brees and the Saints during Week 8 action.

The only problem with this script is that Porter may not play.

Can the Saints make the playoffs this season? A look at their remaining schedule and the NFC South

The Saints are shockingly bad this season.  I did not expect them to be affected this much by the loss of their head coach.  Drew Brees has decided he has to share his opinion on all the big issues in the NFL after being out front during the lock-out and now with the bounty scandal.  He's actually becoming obnoxious.  He needs to spend more time preparing and less time complaining...

Broncos’ Tracy Porter Suffering From Vertigo

Denver Broncos cornerback Tracy Porter has missed a few practices lately, and is dealing with symptoms that may be caused by vertigo. Reports say that Porter was held out and was not allowed to fly for the Broncos’ Week 7 ballgame against the San Diego Chargers the previous Monday before this one. Porter returned to practice this week after the bye, but didn’t go at full-speed...

Peyton Manning Now Owns 21 Papa John’s Pizza Stores

I’m assuming that you have seen the Papa John’s pizza commercial featuring Peyton Manning, but there is a little more to that partnership then meets the eye. Saints-Broncos Preview

The last time Peyton Manning and Drew Brees met - in Super Bowl XLIV - the game ended with Brees and the New Orleans Saints raising the Lombardi Trophy. Manning will be looking for a bit of revenge Sunday night as the Denver Broncos host the Saints, who play their first game under interim coach Joe Vitt. A lot has changed since that matchup in February 2010. Of course, Manning...

Broncos CB Tracy Porter Unlikely To Play Vs Saints

Broncos cornerback Tracy Porter is listed as questionable for Sunday night's game against the New Orleans Saints, but sources close to the player tell NFL Network's Michelle Beisner that Porter is unlikely to play. Porter was at the Broncos' facility on Saturday and re-iterated his desire to play against his former team. Tracy did not play against the San Diego Chargers...

Later, Peyton: Hoosiers rule Indiana

When Peyton Manning left Indianapolis, that was it, that was all. Not just for the Colts, but also for the fabric and definition of Indiana sports in general. You attach your identity to certain historical sports greats, legends and memories. All of Indiana's -- not just Manning -- were fading or gone. Indiana sports were basically in shambles, living on memories. That was way...

Peyton Manning Invests in 21 Papa John's Franchises in Denver Area for Life After Retirement

CUTCLIFFE WITH PEYTON MANNING LAST MARCH (Streeter Lecka/Getty Images)"It’s only natural that that’s what everybody around them was talking to them about because of the length of time we have not been in a bowl game. I would be naïve to not think they weren’t hearing that everywhere they go. That’s a great thing. I saw it in the senior’s faces particularly, to have...
