Torell Troup revealed on Monday that he would be having back surgery on Friday. Coming out of surgery all indications from head coach Chan Gailey is that Troup will be up and running well ahead of training camp. “Yeah, this is one time I did talk to the doctors, I just happened to be in there when the doctor was there and he explained to me the surgery and thinks that he’ll be full go by May,” said Gailey. Troup has been dealing with constant pain in his lower back since the team’s last preseason game, and after trying several remedies will have surgery to fix the problem.
