On Wednesday, two Denver Bronco players — one offensive and one defensive — will be ranked between 41-and-50 on NFL Network’s Top 100 Players of 2012, the network has confirmed. The two players will represent the fourth and fifth Broncos to make the list (joining No. 98 Willis McGahee, No. 68 Elvis Dumervil and No. 52 Von Miller). That’s a big improvement from 2011, when cornerback Champ Bailey (No. 48) and wide receiver Brandon Lloyd (No. 58) were the sole players representing the team. The network has not released names, but we speculate the two players will be Bailey and quarterback Peyton Manning (who was ranked second-best in 2011). Bailey’s ranking will likely be similar to his 2011 spot while Manning has fallen due to not playing last season. But that’s just a guess.  The offensive player could be left tackle Ryan Clady — and Manning may be ranked in the Top 20, as many expect.  Ranking among fifty best players of 2012 (above No. 59 Jake Long, No. 67 Joe Staley and No. 82 Joe Thomas) seems to be unlikely for Clady, who is coming off a season in which he allowed a career-high nine sacks. Wednesday’s show will air at 6:00 p.m. (MT) on NFL Network.  We’ll have coverage of all Bronco players that are ranked.
