The Philadelphia Eagles had two members of its team appear in the NFL Network’s countdown of the top 100 players of 2012 this week. That’s good, right?
The not-so-good part is that the players were ranked far lower this year than last. But given the Eagles 8-8 season in 2011, that is hardly a surprise.

The second member of the Eagles to appear on the list is WR DeSean Jackson. D-Jacc was ranked at #71 this year, while last year being named the 29th best player in the league. Jackson is ranked as the 22nd wideout in the league in 2011 with 961 total yards and 4 touchdowns.
