NFL fans probably could care less about Tyrann Mathieu, "The Honey Badger" who has had one huge downhill road. I see this as a comeback story to remember. Fans will miss out on an exciting player. Mathieu has a on going dispute regarding his failed marijuana tests. As a fan, I hate stories about potentially great football players who have additions. The question is, "What kind of NFL team would take the chance to spend money on a player with an addiction?" The answer; the Dallas Cowboys, who like the spot light-not a quick fix.The Dallas Cowboys are one NFL team who loves problem players, so why not Tyrann Mathieu? Speaking of weed, Quincy Carter was a Cowboy who had his own problems as a quarterback. The list is long, but Adam "Pacman" Jones, Michael Irvin, and Leon Lett are some examples of the off the field history for Dallas. With all the money Jerry Jones threw at Tony Romo, fans shouldn't be disappointed if they pay a little to the "Honey Badger". Jones has a history of drafting players from schools in that region of the country. If Jerry Jones likes excitement, he needs a player like Mathieu.Mathieu was a Consensus All-American, SEC Defensive Player of the Year, and won the Chuck Bednarik Award as a Sophomore. With 77 total tackles, five forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries (two returned for a touchdown), and two INTs. Mathieu could bring his dynamics in punt returning to the Cowboys with 420 yards off 26 returns and two TDs in his Sophomore year.In February 2013, Mathieu participated in the NFL Combine and ran a 4.5 in the 40 yard dash, 34 inch vertical, and 117 inch broad jump. That's not bad for a player who is in the process of drug rehabilitation.Sweetheart's Stuff   Same story, same ol' song and dance. If you, Stuart, and anyone else out there who claims to be a "Writer, Reporter, etc", please learn to work the word allegedly into your vocabulary. The reports of Tyrann Mathieu being dismissed due to drug use were not confirmed. Yes, he entered drug rehabilitation, voluntarily or not, can you say "Dr. Drew Celebrity Rehab"? Maybe yes, maybe no. One can not confirm or deny his intentions.Everyone should be ashamed of themselves for jumping on the McGruff the Crime Dog band wagon. Perhaps this isn't a chronic situation after all. Maybe he needs the weed for medicinal purposes upon the recommendation of a physician. Please check all facts before writing such crap disguised as "breaking football news".Sincerely,Sweetheart
