Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant reportedly has had a run in with Miami police. Citing an anonymous source, a Dallas television station is reporting that Bryant was “detained” by Miami police after a fight Sunday night at a Miami nightclub. (Other reports have circulated that the Miami police are saying they have no knowledge of Bryant being “detained.”) Bryant’s mentor, David Wells, confirmed to WFAA-TV that Bryant was involved in an altercation at the nightclub at the Fountainbleau Hotel in Miami Beach but was not arrested. Bryant has been plagued by off-the-field problems since the Cowboys drafted him in the first round in 2010. Last summer, Bryant was kicked out of a Dallas-area mall for wearing sagging pants and arguing with police. He has also faced several lawsuits for unpaid debts.
