Inside the Bills:
Bills guard/center Kraig Urbik, who went down with a knee injury in last Saturday’s game is out for this week, but fortunately won’t be facing a long offseason rehabilitation.
Urbik told Buffalobills.com that he suffered a torn meniscus in his knee, which will require a clean up surgery. That procedure will be performed on Friday.
Urbik said he should be running again by mid-February.

This Day in Buffalo Sports History: Not quite
December 28, 1963 -- Is this the anniversary of the first playoff game in the history of the Buffalo Bills ? It depends on how you care to define your terms.
The Bills finished with a 7-6-1 record in the 1963 season. That was good enough to tie the Boston Patriots for first place in the AFL East, and it set up a matchup game for the right to play for the AFL championship. So it...

Buffalo's Win May Inspire False Hope for 2012
When the chips AREN'T down, when there's NO reason to fight on, and when it seems that the best option would be to lay your head down and take a nap for the last few games, here come the Buffalo Bills. It's a fact in Bills country, that no matter who the opponent or where the game is played, as long as there's nothing on the line and winning would fly in the face...
Bills add 2 to practice squad

Buffalo signed WR David Gilreath and OL Jake Vermiglio to the team’s practice squad Tuesday.
Gilreath entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with Indianapolis in July. The 5-11, 169-pound Wisconsin product spent portions of the season on the Colts’ and St. Louis...

Stevie thinks he'll be back
Maybe it's wishful thinking on his part. Or maybe he's thinking too logically. But Bills receiver Stevie Johnson isn't thinking Sunday's season finale at New England will be his last in a Buffalo uniform.
Johnson, whose contract is up at the end of February, admitted he considered the posibility that last week's game against Denver could have been his last at...
Whitner feels George “got robbed”
Pro Bowl snubs are a popular topic this time of year and there are cases to be made for more than just a handful of players on Buffalo’s roster. But the opinion of an NFL player that plays the same position feeling a Bills player got robbed for Pro Bowl recognition carries a bit more weight.
Former Bills safety Donte Whitner felt that George Wilson was snubbed for AFC Pro Bowl...
