Cornerback Nathan Vasher, who has been a forgotten man most of the season since starting the opener and then getting benched, will start today in place of injured Charles Tillman, who was placed on injured reserve early in the week with fractured ribs and a lung contusion.
Corey Graham filled in for Tillman after he was injured vs. the Vikings, but his play has been inconsistent. Craig Steltz is starting at free safety in place of Al Afalava, who will miss his second straight game with a knee injury. Steltz started the first game of his two-year NFL career last week at strong safety in place of Kevin Payne, who is back in the starting lineup after missing one game with a sprained ankle.
