Ready to start at his third different position this season, Buffalo Bills offensive lineman Andy Levitre is pretty sure he could fill in anywhere. Even quarterback, Levitre jokes. Don't worry, Ryan Fitzpatrick need not be looking over his shoulder, because the Bills are counting on Levitre to continue his jack-of-all-trades role in providing stability to what's become a banged-up offensive line. After opening the season at left guard, and then moving to left tackle, the third-year player will make his debut at starting center Sunday. That's when the slumping Bills (5-4) attempt to restore their early season momentum in traveling to play the Miami Dolphins (2-7). Levitre is making his latest switch after Buffalo lost Eric Wood to a season-ending knee injury in a 44-7 loss at Dallas.

Banged-up Bills beginning to limp after fast start

The Buffalo Bills and their fans can't say they weren't warned about potential trouble ahead. It was at the height of their surprising start, when general manager Buddy Nix began expressing concerns about the Bills' lack of experienced depth. Nix acknowledged Wednesday those fears are being realized on a team that's lost three of four and attempting to plug untested...

Broncos help Bills

Denver’s 17-13 win over the Jets last night could prove to be a big help for the Bills. The win lifted Denver to 5-5 and dropped the Jets to 5-5. New York is now a half game back of the Bills. Should the Jets and Bills be battling each other for a Wild Card spot (perhaps premature with teams ahead of them right now in the AFC for the Wild Cards) the tiebreakers go as follows to...

Losman to be on opposite sideline

Bills former quarterback J.P. Losman will be on the opposite sideline Sunday when Buffalo travels to Miami. Veteran Chris Kelsay was asked if he hoped they’d see Losman on the field. “I guess you can always hope and I don’t mean in regard to J.P. and his talent, but their starting quarterback is Moore and if he’s not playing that means we’re getting pressure on him and...

Bills WR Johnson might not play Sunday (AP)

Stevie Johnson missed practice Wednesday due to a sore left shoulder, leaving the Buffalo Bills' top receiver's status uncertain for the team's game at Miami this weekend. Wilson doubtful vs. Miami

---Strong safety George Wilson is doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins with a neck injury, although coach Chan Gailey holds out the slight hope that his defensive leader will be able to play. BLD Picks NFL Games Against the Spread: Week 11

Thanks for the money the past few weeks, Shanny.Let’s be real: a lot of people love football because it’s the easiest and funnest sport to gamble on. And there’s nothing wrong with that. Personally, I’m too broke to gamble (being a first-year public school teacher isn’t too lucrative), but I sure do watch a lot of football. I figure I should help* my loyal readers out with...
