Victor Cruz, who signed a six-year, $45.879 million contract last week, thinks he deserved more from the New York Giants. “I’m not going to lie, it’s tough. It’s tough. When you understand from a numbers standpoint, and the numbers you put up you feel like deserve a certain amount of

  • How dumb can anybody be? He signed a contract, the ink isn,t
even dry and he,s complaining. Did someone hold a gun to his head to make him sign? Is there anything but air between his ears?
  • OK enough already Cruz...there are people without jobs in this country and it's getting worse with that clown in the White House. Just STFU and get ready to play football, nobody is gonna feel sorry for you. And I'm typing this even though I'm a Die Hard Giants fan who was glad to see you resign with the team. Now you had just better go out there and tear it up...but just stop all the whining already. Hell, you could sign endorsements in NY and make yourself more money off the field than your making on it.

Report: Manziel had more troubles at Manning camp

As Johnny Manziel tries to put out a media brushfire at SEC Media Days, a report says he was a problem from the beginning of his time at the Manning Passing Academy. And his parents had to call in sick for him. The New York Daily News, citing an anonymous source, said that Manziel arrived late to the camp on Thursday and missed a meeting. Then, again according to the source, Manziel...

Eli Manning: The Most Disrespected Super Bowl Champion

As I have explained in previous articles, I am a die-hard fan of the New York Giants.  As a fan, I admittedly wear my blinders frequently for Big Blue despite my best efforts to remain objective, but, it drives me absolutely bonkers when I have to listen to pundits put down or disrespect Eli Manning, especially when they use misleading statistics to prove their points.   It has...

Justin Tuck will appear on “Necessary Roughness”

New York Giants defensive end Justin Tuck will make an appearance on an episode of “Necessary Roughness,” according to ESPNNewYork.com. Look for the Giants’ soft-spoken defensive captain when he guest stars on Wednesday night’s episode of “Necessary Roughness,” USA Network’s pro football-centric, one-hour drama series. Tuck was asked what took him so long to do...

Cruz apologizes for Zimmerman tweet

New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz has apologized for a message he sent on Twitter in the wake of the verdict in the George Zimmerman trial. Cruz sent a series of tweets Sunday calling his message from a night earlier a ''mistake,'' adding that he ''never will advocate violence under any circumstances.'' The original message has since been...

Victor Cruz does not feel New York Giants paid him what he is worth

Victor Cruz and the New York Giants are happy to have gotten the 26-year-old’s contract situation squared away, but that does not mean he feels he was compensated fairly. Once a player signs on the dotted line, he no longer has a right to complain. No one forced Cruz to sign a five-year, $43 million [...]

Victor Cruz didn’t accept a “hometown discount”

ESPN’s Adam Schefter broke things down on SportsCenter and made it clear that wide receiver Victor Cruz didn’t take a hometown discount to stay with the Giants. I agree with Schefter, Cruz had the choice to play under the restricted free agent tender and then test free agency after this season.  There’s a chance he wouldn’t have been offered that much more money from other...

Victor Cruz doesn’t sound too pleased with his new contract

Tweet Victor Cruz, who has gained much popularity in a short period of time as a receiver for the New York Giants, recently signed a six-year contract worth upwards of $45 million –$15.6 million guaranteed — to stay with the Giants. Apparently Cruz believes he should have gotten more, per some comments he recently made [...]

Peyton Manning defends Johnny Manziel for leaving camp

Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning came to the defense of Johnny Manziel on Monday saying that he hopes Manziel returns to serve as a counselor next year.Manning's comments come a day after reports surfaced that the Texas A&M quarterback and Heisman winner was sent home early due to being hungover from a night full of partying. However, those reports were refuted by...

Eli Manning's Top Five Fourth Quarter Comebacks

In the NFL, every good fourth quarter comeback requires masterful quarterback play, the defense being able to get three-and-outs or turnovers, and of course, a little luck.  Luck can only take you so far however, and it is no coincidence that Eli Manning has earned the reputation as being one of the best at helping the Giants "snatch victory from the jaws of defeat."...

Tiki Barber: Eli Manning is better than Peyton Manning

Back in 2007, just months after  former Giants running back TIki Barber retired from the NFL he ripped quarterback Eli Manning and claimed that he wasn’t a leader.  Of course Eli then took the Giants on an amazing Super Bowl run that season. Now it sounds like Barber is more of a believer in Eli that he’s ever been.  He now co-hosts a radio show on CBS Sports Radio and claimed...

Tiki Barber: Eli Manning is a better quarterback than Peyton Manning

The general consensus among football fans is that Peyton Manning is a much better quarterback than Eli Manning. Prior to the New York Giants’ Super Bowl campaign in 2007, very few people believed Eli would ever be on the same stratosphere as his older brother. Two Super Bowl rings have made the conversation more interesting. [...]

Tiki Barber: Eli Manning is better than Peyton

If I were to ask ten people who was the better Quarterback between Peyton Manning and Eli Manning, I’d be stunned if three of those ten said Eli. If former Giants running back Tiki Barber were one of those ten, he’d tell me that his former teammate Eli was the top Manning. Former Giants RB Tiki Barber says that Eli Manning is the better brother. (Tim Heitman/US Presswire) ...

Tiki Barber: Eli Manning is A Better QB Than Peyton Manning

Tiki Barber has made a nice living recently trolling and making head scratching comments at every turn. Barber who was always critical of Eli Manning when they were teammates recently paid him the highest compliment, even if it’s sure to set off some controversy. During his CBS Sports Radio Network show that Barber also hosts with Brandon Tierney and Dana Jacobson, the question...
