On Sunday, the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Indianapolis Colts met for their first of two match-ups this season. To no one’s surprise, the Colts crushed the Jaguars 37-3. While the game may not have been fun to watch, at least the aftermath of a bet between the team’s two mascots was entertaining. Last Thursday, the Jaguars mascot Jaxson DeVille took to his Twitter to challenge the Colts mascot Blue Colt, over which team would win the game. The losing team’s mascot would be shot with paintballs from 10-yards out. The number of paintballs would be determined by the total combined points scored. Ok @BlueColtsMascot here’s the bet: Loser wears spandex and speedo and takes paintballs from 10yds! Number of paintballs=total pts! #Jaguars — Jaxson DeVille (@JaxsonDeVille) September 26, 2013 The Jaguars lost and Jaxson DeVille accepted his fate and paid for the loss in pain. The mascot was shot with 40 paintballs from 10-yards out. Check out the video below: Even after taking 40 paintballs to the chest, Jaxson DeVille was still talking about payback when the two teams meet again in week 17. Ok @BlueColtsMascot my debt has been paid and video from both cameras is being put together. It’s pretty epic! Payback week 17! — Jaxson DeVille (@JaxsonDeVille) September 30, 2013 While most mascots are boring, at least Jaxson DeVille is trying his hardest to be entertaining and give Jaguars fans something to talk about as their team continues to lose.
