Normally when people try to show me videos of kids singing, I plug my ears with my fingers while shouting incoherently and running into another room, because if you’ve ever heard the Kidz Bop version of Macklemore’s “Thrift Shop” or anything, for that matter, you’d know that kids sound strange with their youth and innocence and other things I’ll once again possess when I find the Fountain of Youth. But I have to admit, I really like this new video of some students from several middle and elementary schools in Oakland teaming up to sing a new, empowering version of Rihanna’s “Please Don’t Stop the Music” entitled, “I’m an Oakland School Kid.” And it helps that actual one-time Oakland school kid and Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch joined in on the fun and danced like a goofball to provide me with my fantasy football team’s new GIF logo for this season. The video was produced by the folks at Portal A, which previously gave us the amazing “2 Legit 2 Quit” remix, starring

Sidney Rice’s 20-minute Swiss knee procedure left just enough time for a quick game of Madden before heading back to Seattle.
Rice, who left training camp last week for a non-surgical procedure in Zurich, Switzerland, made the day of a lucky Swiss fan when he showed up at his house for some barbeque and a game of Madden.

Seahawks have released wide receiver Early Doucet after he struggled with an
injury in his first practice with the team, according to Darin Gantt of NBC Sports. The team stated that their reason for releasing Doucet so soon after
acquiring him is because he “failed to disclose a physical injury” prior to
signing his contract. It is currently unknown what that injury...
On a team that counts continuity among its greatest strengths, the Seattle Seahawks are hoping that change can be a good thing for the defensive line.
Veterans Cliff Avril, Michael Bennett and Tony McDaniel were brought in to add depth and their value could become even greater while Bruce Irvin serves a four-game suspension and Chris Clemons recovers from knee surgery that has his...
The Glory Hogs
Yada Yada Percy Harvin‘s hurt yada yada. Now that I’ve gotten that out of the way, where was I?
Ah yes, the Seattle Seahawks wide receivers that will be healthy from week 1 forward and their projected stats lines.

Looking at the playing field
Maybe the Seattle Seahawks shouldn’t have released Leon Washington… It’s starting to look that way following the news that Percy Harvin will be out for – at the very least – twelve weeks of action in the upcoming season. Just our luck, huh.
Going forward the Seahawks have yet to name his replacement in the return game.
That’s not to say they...

The Seattle Seahawks will visit the San Diego Chargers in each teams first preseason football game of the season.
Ah. Preseason. Where the games do not matter but the roster spots do. If nothing else it will be interesting to see how San Diego plays under first year coach Mike McCoy.

Well, as of 7:00 Pacific tonight, football will be officially back when the Seahawks’ square off against their old AFC West division opponents the Chargers. I don’t know about the rest of you, but...
