Michael Vick's hyped up interview with James Brown aired early Sunday evening on CBS' 60 Minutes. At times, Vick came off very emotional while other times his words seemed fairly scripted. I'd say the interview didn't hurt him but it certainly didn't help his image.
One of the things that bothered me was Vick's admission that the first time he was disgusted with his acts was when he was in prison. I'm surprised it took that long. Many of the comments I've read feel that Vick appears more sorry for being caught than actually harming animals. That said, when Vick shares the story of police simply overlooking dog fighting when he was a youth demonstrates the serious problem it is/was and how ingrained it was in his culture growing up. That, of course, doesn't make it okay. But it is certainly eye opening. [video of the segment below]
