Ndamukong Suh talked all summer about his Lions teammates avoiding silly penalties, but on Sunday against the Vikings, Suh was up to his old tricks.
The Lions picked off a Christian Ponder pass in the second quarter of Sundays season opener, and during the interception return, Suh tried to take out the knees of Vikings lineman John Sullivan during the return.

The Ndamukong Suh act is a tired one, and it’s one the Detroit Lions would probably like to see their defesnive tackle abandon. He continues to say he’s going to change the way he plays, but he also continues to offer proof to the contrary. Suh was back at it again Sunday in Week 1 during the Lions’ eventual win over the Minnesota Vikings. It looked like the Lions had just...
The NFL is looking into possibly disciplining Ndamukong Suh for his latest on-field infraction.
League spokesman Randall Liu confirmed the review on Monday in an email to The Associated Press.
Suh, a Detroit defensive tackle, was called for an illegal low block against Minnesota center John Sullivan during an interception return Sunday. The Lions won the game 34-24.

Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh has a reputation as the dirtiest player in the NFL. While he has vehemently denied this in the past the tape speaks for itself.
It spoke again Sunday.
Suh voted a team captain last week made a dirty and dangerous play on Minnesota Vikings center John Sullivan.
Not only was it a dirty play it was a dumb play. DeAndre Levy intercepted...
Ndamukong Suh is back in the middle of a controversy because of a questionable, if not dirty, play in Sunday's game.
Suh usually waits for Thanksgiving for these types of incidents. This time, it came in the regular-season opener.
The play being debated took place early in the second quarter when Suh's teammate, DeAndre Levy, intercepted a pass and returned it for an apparent...
I think at this point we all know Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh is a dirty player. That nasty mentality helps because he plays on defense, bu the dumb penalties are going to hurt the Lions. Apparently now Suh will face discipline for this hit against the Vikings. Adam Schefter now saying the league […]
Another game, another bad decision by Ndamukong Suh of the Detroit Lions.
Suh added to his list of boneheaded plays Sunday by purposely blocking Vikings lineman John Sullivan low. The safer play would have clearly been to block Sullivan high. The good news is that Sullivan was not injured on the play. The better news is that Suh should receive a disciplinary call Monday or Tuesday...
Discipline and the lack there of has been a HUGE issue during Suh’s NFL career and that same problem continued Sunday against the Vikings. After Christian Ponder threw a pick six, Suh went low on Minnesota’s John Sullivan which resulted in a personal foul penalty and the touchdown negated. And in typical Lions fashion Matthew […]
Ndamukong Suh is about to get a little light in the wallet if the NFL has it’s way.
Jay Glazer is reporting that the NFL is thinking about fining Suh $100,000 for his dirty hit on Vikings lineman Jonathan Sullivan.

FOX Sports analyst Jay Glazier reported Monday night that league sources indicate Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh wont be suspended for a controversial illegal block in Sundays game but will receive a hefty fine.
Glazier was critical of Suh and Lions coach Jim Schwartz during the FOX Football Daily show on the new all-sports network FS1.
Glazier said his sources on...
1. While I deem both hits dirty plays, Ndamukong Suh and Clay Matthews I would gladly take on my team any day. In my opinion I feel the Matthews hit as worse but feel free to convince me otherwise. 2. The Lions offense is for real. Even with the blunders they put up 34 points […]
