The Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs started off with a bang when Donde Whitner drilled Pierre Thomas. The Saints were looking to score on their first position against the 49ers, but on 3rd down, Safety Donde Whitner did everything he could to stop Thomas. Since Thomas wasn’t a “defenseless” receiver on the play, helmet-to-helmet wasn’t – nor should it – be called. I hope Thomas is ok, even though he cost me a few fantasy losses this year.
