Once Jamie Collins was picked by the Patriots, our Sam Reilly reached out to soon to Collins' former teammate for some insight. Soon to be starting quarterback of Southern Miss, Kyle Sloter, had nothing but praise for Collins.
"The dude dunks like LeBron when I played basketball with him," Sloter told us. "He's a freak."
Indeed he is. The Patriots are getting a hell of an athlete, we'll see when the season starts if they are also getting a hell of an NFL player.

Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports believes that free agent defensive end John Abraham would be a good fit for the New England Patriots.
He made his tour of visits, and he’s been pretty firm with his asking price, but this still leaps out as a Bill Belichick move to me. He is always collecting veteran edge players who can add situational help, and the Pats are always in the hunt....

There are four...
We have yet to see him take the field, but Stevan Ridley's confidence in his recovery will definitely allow a sigh of relief for New England Patriots fans everywhere. The running back was literally knocked out cold by Bernard 'The Patriot Killer' Pollard in the AFC Championship game loss to the eventual Super Bowl Champion Baltimore Ravens. It was a scary play, as the...
FOXBORO, Mass. — Chandler Jones‘ brother is one of the best mixed-martial artists in the world, and his original plan for the offseason was to do some MMA training with him.

The NFL is a league based on patterns and trends. Coaches, players and front-office personnel are constantly studying the successes of certain teams to try and create their own blueprint.
The Patriots always seem to be one of those test cases. First, it was the aggressive press coverage of their cornerbacks, which forced the league to more strictly enforce the five-yard illegal contact...
