Minnestota Vikings linebacker Chad Greenway will have arthroscopic knee surgery on Wednesday after having an MRI for knee problems that have hampered him during the offseason.
Coach Leslie Frazier stated that Greenway will miss the rest of OTAs and next week’s minicamp, but will have preventive surgery now in order to be ready when the team starts camp in July.
“He had a little tension in his knee,” Frazier said, via Tim Yotter of Scout.com.
“We just wanted to get it down now rather than run into a situation where we get into camp and it continues to bother him and then we’d have some issues that we’d have to deal with there. We’re going to have that done.”

Vikings GM Rick Spielman
Minnesota Vikings General Manager Rick Spielman has been drafting for two years. And like quarterbacks who come into the league he gets a few years to prove himself. If by the third year it hasn’t clicked yet that’s it, give up. In April’s draft Spielman blew expectations out of the water. An unbelievable draft two years in a row is noteworthy for the...
If there is one thing that we may have learned over the past few months, it is that Brett Favre is not afraid to speak about the past, present, and future.
Five years removed from Green Bay, including two with hated rival Minnesota, Favre had never really spoken about the way things ended in Green Bay.
Until the past month.
Last week, Favre took public responsibility for the first...
