For the second time this season New England Patriot defensive marvel Vince Wilfork has accomplished his lifelong goal. He has caught another interception in a regular season game.
Twice. In one season. He had done it several years ago against Oakland Raiders in an exhibition game. Now he leads the Patriots in interceptions.
This earth-shaking event seemed almost the pinnacle of his career as an anchor on the Patriot defensive line. It seems almost as if we were watching the tsunami coming two weeks after the first quake.
As we watched the high stepping Wilfork make his way down the field again, carrying the ball for nearly twenty yards again, we were stunned by his footwork.
At first we felt he resembled five drum majors rolled into one bulk.
Then, we presumed it would be how the Incredible Hulk might accomplish this gridiron feat.
