According to Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union Tribune, if though the Chargers placed wide receiver Vincent Brown on injured reserve with the designation to return, it doesn’t look like he’ll be back this season. It appears the Chargers wide receiver won’t play a game until next year. In the meantime, he will continue his ankle rehabilitation, which has ramped up in recent weeks with Brown beginning to cut and run routes. He relaxed in the locker room Wednesday, sunken in a black leather armchair after an afternoon workout. Asked if he’ll play this season, which ends Dec. 30, Brown admitted “most likely not.” “I’ll probably be chilling,” added Brown, who hasn’t begun practicing. “Just keep pushing through rehab, and we’ll see.” At this point in the season it doesn’t even look like the Chargers will make the playoffs.  The best thing is to make sure Brown will be healthy for next season.   Need NFL Tickets? var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createE
