WR Vincent Jackson wants to remain a member of the San Diego Chargers and is waiting to hear from the Chargers front office on a new long-term deal. Last season, the San Diego Chargers placed the franchise tag on Jackson and after refusing to sign his tender, he sat out for the first 10 games of the 2010 NFL regular season. Hard feelings behind him, Jackson now wants to get a long-term deal worked out with the Chargers. Speaking to NFL.com, Jackson said there has been no progress yet on a new deal. “There hasn’t been any communication as far as contracts go,”  Jackson said at Pro Bowl practice. “If that’s their feeling, that’s great. I would like to stay in San Diego. Obviously, that’s my home, that’s where I was drafted. I’ve got some good guys around me-Philip Rivers, Antonio Gates, Ryan Mathews.
