Mark Brunell: Brunell was the face of the Jaguars for the first nine years of their existence. He still owns most of Jacksonville’s major passing records. Brunell played from day one in Jacksonville after the team traded a third- and fifth-round pick to the Packers to acquire the University of Washington product.
Brunell led the Jaguars to the playoffs in 1996, 1997, 1998 and 1999 — an impressive feat given that they were an expansion team in 1995. Brunell was a three-time Pro Bowler in 1996, 1997 and 1999. The southpaw was one of the best mobile quarterback of his era, running for 480 yards and four touchdowns in his first season as a starter and totaling 2,421 yards in his career on the ground.
