Sportsday:
So was Wade Phillips OK with the last two playcalls by Jason Garrett that ended up with Tony Romo challenging Champ Bailey with Sam Hurd?
"I'm OK with whatever he called, yes," Phillips said.
What else could Phillips say? But what about Jason Witten being asked to block on the final two plays?
"They blitzed everybody," Phillips said. "You've got to pick it up so the quarterback can throw the football. That's part of it ... They brought eight guys."
OK, then why not split Witten out wide and have Martellus Bennett block? You have to give your playmakers a chance to make plays. Garrett didn't do that with Witten on Sunday. Twice.
