Sportsday:
Wade Phillips seemed to indicate Flozell Adams and Felix Jones will appeal their fines from Monday's game against Carolina.
Adams was fined $7,500 for kicking Julius Peppers and Jones was fined $5,000 for a leg whip.
This is the third straight game in which Adams was fined.
"He's a very good football player," Phillips said. "He's aggressive .. He's just wants to protect the quarterback."
Phillips did not understand why Jones was fined because he missed the Carolina linebacker in his attempted leg whip.
"You would think you would have to trip the guy to get a fine, but he didn't," Phillips said.
